"I don't teach Physics. Physics cannot be taught. I, with my students explore the greatest secrets of nature. It is a combined effort. There is no hierarchy. We only exchange ideas. In the very exchange, the learning is enshrined in both teacher and student. For me, every class is a deep introspection, a metaphysical manoeuvre, a new experience that is as fresh as a dew drop"

There is an entirely different and creative set of Mathematics that exists outside the realm of School. I was not enchanted with Mathematics in school, and was an average scorer. And like every other mathematician I found solace outside of formal curriculum and it sparked curiosity, pleasure, passion and JOY in me. And thus, I've chosen the responsibility of sharing the beauty of maths with the younger generation.

Passion is what makes us do anything, leaving everything apart. The inclination towards learning Physics has made me a different person altogether, thereby opening myself to share the knowledge. Life is more interesting and meaningful when profession is driven by passion.
For me it is just not a job, but a lifestyle I have chosen. We always have time for ourselves and being with kids always teaches us how simple it is to live in this world full of growing entropy. Chemistry is an easy way to express nature as it is, everything which happens around us and within us is nature’s play of Chemistry which makes it more interesting to me.
Humanity is what it is today because we further polish what we inherit and pass to next generation. Teaching is the best medium for that. Maths has always had my fondness. I look at it as the code in which the whole universe is written. It is a wonderful job to teach what you love. Interactions with students have taught me many things.
Teaching organic chemistry is fun. With students around all day, I feel energetic. It is said that it takes big heart to shape up young minds. Being in such a responsible profession, I always try to deliver my best to students. End of the day, more than the results, the process of preparation should be joyful and stress-free.
